As part of my independent research with Helotons Astronomy, I want to investigate whether ZTF18abjklul exhibits any unexplained photometric behavior that has not been adequately characterized in existing studies.
My main questions are whether its long-term brightness variations follow a consistent pattern, whether there are changes in its variability over time, and whether its light curve contains unusual features that might be overlooked in a general catalog classification. I also want to determine whether the observed variations can be explained by a known type of variable star or whether further investigation is warranted.
I have not yet established that this object displays any previously unknown behavior. My next step is to analyze the individual photometric measurements, check their uncertainties and observing filters, and compare the source with independent catalogs and published research.
The aim of this investigation is to identify a specific, testable question about the object's behavior rather than assume that an unexplained pattern represents a new discovery.
